MARTIN CURRIE CHARITY CHALLENGE
The Martin Currie Charity Challenge brings together the right mixture of challenge and enjoyment for all athletic abilities. There are three route options that include combinations of walking, running and cycling. For our event, we will be using the infamous Tan Track and the Capital City Trail as our course of choice. The three route options mean that the event will be suitable for all fitness levels, and that anyone can take part and complete the event at their own pace. We also encourage people to volunteer to man the start/finish line if they don’t wish to walk or cycle.
Our overriding purpose is to raise much needed funds for St Kilda Mums. Their Vision is a future where we waste less, share more and care for every child.
Choice of 3 Challenges
- TAN DASH: 15km run/walk around the Tan track (4 laps @ 3.8 km each)
- CAPITAL PEDAL: 30km cycle around the Capital City Trail
- BIG CITY CIRCLE: Combination of the 15km run + 30 km cycle
About St Kilda Mums
We are a volunteer-powered charity based in St Kilda, Melbourne. We rehome new and pre-loved baby goods and nursery equipment to families in need across Victoria. We believe that by reusing and recycling much-loved babies’ and children’s gear, we not only share the joy of motherhood with each other, but we save the earth’s precious resources too.
