URGENT HELP REQUIRED – DONATIONS NEEDED – PLEASE SHARE
We need your urgent help tonight. We have had such a tough week. Actually, that is an understatement. It has been really hard.
As hard as we try, we get calls for help and just can’t say no. It’s not within our nature, so tonight we are asking for your desperate help.
I’m going to tell you a few of the cases we have had this week to let you know how hard we try for those in our care.
Let me tell you about poor Pebbles. who is only 4 months old and suffered a tibial crest that required a specialist surgery which he had on Tuesday. He’s currently recovering now but his vet bill was just the beginning.
Our beauty and the beast litter which is just 8 weeks old has had several vet visits since being born in care. This is why we are just so glad to know their Mum Skye will never be made to have puppies again, like she had been in her previous life. First when they were born we lost 2 puppies to congenital issues and now all 3 puppies will require hernia repair when they get their desexing, one earlier because her hernia is concerning but last night they collapsed out of the blue and were rushed to the emergency vet at midnight. The third visit for these puppies. It pains our heart. They have been through so much but we need to be there for them every step of the way.
They have been found to have a parasite that was causing bloody vomiting and diarrhoea and had to get medication to help treat them until they are well. Thankfully it isn’t more serious and they will recover soon but it has been an extra expense that we need to cover.
Finally, let me tell you about little Izzy. She was a surrendered dog that had never set foot outside her yard in 7 years of life and was afraid of the outside world. She came into care and had her vet work done and we discovered she had pyrhometra which dogs can get when they aren’t desexed. Thankfully it was caught in time and we thought she was out of the woods and ready for her forever home. However now we have found she has breast cancer and requires another surgery to help her get as much out of life as she can.
You can see that we are trying hard. Every dog that comes into our rescue gets the love and support they need but unfortunately tonight we need your help.
These cases plus others has hit us financially and we need to raise at least $5,000 to pay off our bills and make sure we can continue to answer every call for help.
We receive no government funding so are completely reliant on your help.
Just $5 from each and every one of you would help us so much. It’s the cost of your next cup of coffee but one that will help save a life.
If you could also please write the word DONE below after you have donated that would be great and remember to please share this post far and wide.
We need you tonight.
