THIS BREAKS OUR HEART – DONATIONS NEEDED – PLEASE HELP US TONIGHT
It really breaks our heart. I need you to read this post in full and please help us tonight. We urgently need you to chip in tonight.
Yesterday we joined forces and worked so hard to save two babies, poor McQueen and Sally, that had an unfortunate fate. You see these two darlings have inguinal hernias, and their current owners didn’t want to deal with it (gulp).
Thankfully we got the call in time and we had our amazing volunteers to join together to get them collected. They just dropped everything which was completely amazing but what they do time after time on a weekend and at all hours.
An Inguinal hernia can have varying severity, but all involve the enlargement of the inguinal canal and the risk of abdominal contents spilling out through the canal, or opening in the dog’s groin. The most remarkable symptom of an inguinal hernia is the protrusion itself, which appears as swelling on one or both sides of a dog’s groin and can be exacerbated by certain activities. I think I’d just let you know exactly what we are dealing this.
Due to the severity of McQueen and Sally’s hernias, our vet has come out on her day off to assess and we are booked in tomorrow to have them repaired. If left untreated hernias can lead to strangulated organs, tissue death, and infection. We can’t thank our vet enough for dropping everything too and getting our two dogs seen to.
However, I’m hoping you can answer OUR call tonight. Can you please make this all worthwhile?
We are desperate for your help, we have been quoted $2,000 to have both of our babies repaired. McQueen will be desexed at the same time as well which adds to our cost.
We need to urgently raise these funds as these babies are booked in for surgery tomorrow and we cannot wait any longer.
I’m counting on you tonight. Can you please donate just $5 to help us reach our goal. It’s just $5 but the best $5 you will have spent all week. I promise! You won’t miss it and it will make sure these two dogs get the treatment they need.
