URGENT HELP REQUIRED – DONATIONS NEEDED – PLEASE CROSS EVERYTHING AND SHARE LIKE CRAZY
We need your urgent help tonight. We just need to let you know how hard it is for us at the moment and we need your help. As you know, we announced recently about two out of the 9 recent puppies that had come into our rescue from different locations, that were all exposed to the parvo virus and sadly how two of them had crossed the rainbow bridge unfairly. We thought we had seen the worst of it (gulp). We then saw 2 extremely emancipated pups in a regional pound and just knew we couldn’t leave them there.
They were already compromised because of how sick they were already in care but we wanted to give them a chance to survive and find homes. An amazing carer of ours did an overnight trip and plenty of hours on the road to save them and bring them urgently to us and we thought things would be okay. Then the unthinkable happened. Poor Speckles yesterday began to take a turn for the worst. He wasn’t eating, didn’t want to drink and couldn’t keep down what water he had consumed.
At 11 o’clock last night their amazing carer rushed them to after hours emergency and Parvo was confirmed positive. And now Toffee has begun to show signs. We just can’t believe it. And we are so angry and so sad and just don’t get why people do these things to animals. No expense will be spared in giving these puppies a chance. We are crossing everything for them 15 times over. We have caught it early so we are praying they will be alright. As you know the costs add up quickly.
We’ve been hit hard, really hard. We have now had 10 (yes, you read it right) Parvo cases in the last few months. Our bank balance is drained. We just need to let you know. It’s the truth and we are counting on you tonight to help us out. We urgently need your help. We need to raise $4,000 and that’s just a start.
Can you please donate just $5? It’s just $5, the cost of your next cup of coffee in the morning but one that will help us save more lives and you won’t regret it one bit. I promise. I am hoping that when I wake up a miracle has happened.
