URGENT HELP REQUIRED – DONATIONS NEEDED – PLEASE SHARE
We need your urgent help with ACE. It’s vital we get him the treatment and care he needs. Let me tell you about precious Ace.
Ace is a young 20mth old staffy cross who arrived here a few months ago. Ace came in with another dog, the owners had to move and could not find accommodation they could afford that allowed dogs.
Ace is used to being in a family with children. He is friendly affectionate playful loving dog and gets on well with other dogs. We soon discovered that he had a rear leg limp which was caused by a past injury which was not seen to properly.
We thought initially it was a soft tissue damage as he walked with a limp, a little hop, not weight baring at times and towards the end of the day would be uncomfortable and rest.
We asked our vet Dr Ray Barnett to look at it and X-ray it, the results show a deformed Tibia and Femur. We then contacted Dr Andrew Marchevsky at SASH in Sydney to see if he could help and he agreed.
We needed to transport him to Sydney to Sydney Small Animal Specialist Hospital (SASH) in time so Dr Andrew and his Surgical team could prepare Ace for a very complex operation ASAP.
The results of the CT scan were not good initially. The operation so far has gone well BUT it is early days. Ace may need another operation to extend the length of his leg or not. We need to give Ace every chance. He’s come so far and we can’t give up on Ace now. The costs are building and fast. We will need at least $6,000 for Ace.
As you probably can imagine we haven’t planned for this cost but we can’t let Ace down. He needs us more than ever. Just $5 from each and every one of you would help us so much. It’s the cost of your next cup of coffee but one that will help save Ace’s life.
If you could please write the word DONE below after you have donated that would be great and please remember to share this post far and wide. We are so desperately worried about Ace and need you more than ever to help chip in for Ace.
