Please Help Us Urgently Tonight

By Found Hearts

We are struggling! We are really stretched. Tonight, I’m calling out for your help. With 19 poor pups, 3 cats and 5 kittens needing urgent vet work we are stretched. Completely stretched.

I’ve tossed and turned about what to do and I’ve decided to turn to our loyal supporters for help. I need you to dig deep tonight. The drought has also taken its toll and Xmas and New Year is always the toughest time in rescue. As you know, we took 16 #project65 cats, from a Bundaberg woman who rescued dumped cats in her neighbourhood, desexed, befriended them and took them off the street but it got out of hand and the Council stepped in and said she must either move the cats on or they would impound them. We just had to do this but it has severely drained our funds. Poor Winx, the sweet innocent kitten.

She is adored by her foster family but jumped down from the bench and injured herself. She has luxating patellas and possible cruciate ligament damage. This is just some of the heartache we have to deal with on a daily basis. So tonight, please dig deep. We want to be able to be open again to our animals that need our help but we need to clear our vet bills.

We need to raise $9,000 to do this. It’s a big ask I know but if everyone chips in we will get there. Just $5, the cost of a glass of champagne on a hot summer’s night is all I’m asking from you tonight. Please also share this post with your friends so it goes viral.
